Financial protection
Last updated: 15 July 2026 · Version: v0.1-prelaunch
Ali's World Tours is not currently an ATOL holder and is not an ABTA member. We do not take payment for travel on this website.
How your money is protected today: any booking we arrange is confirmed directly with the named supplier or principal, you pay them under their own protection scheme, and we tell you in writing who that is before you pay anything. If any arrangement would not carry protection, we tell you that too.
As we grow we intend to add formal protection — an agent-of-ATOL-principal arrangement, trust account membership, or our own ATOL licence. This page will change the day that happens, not before.
What this means in practice
- We never hold your money ourselves for a flight, package or accommodation booking.
- Before you pay anyone, we tell you in writing exactly who you are paying and what protects that payment.
- Where a supplier holds ATOL or another protection scheme, that protection is theirs, arranged directly between you and them — we will always say so clearly, and we will never claim it as our own.
- Where no such protection exists for a particular arrangement, we tell you plainly, so you can decide with full information.
Why we are telling you this so directly
Financial protection in travel is exactly the kind of thing that is easy to imply and hard to verify. We would rather you knew precisely where you stand today than assume something that is not true. Read more about how bookings actually work on our booking & enquiry terms page.
